# Sorting categories

This article explains how to change the order of categories in your webshop.

### How to Sort Categories

1.  Go to **Products → Products**
2.  Click on **Sort**
3.  **Drag and drop** the categories into your preferred order
4.  Click **Save sorting order**

### Alternative: Manual Sorting

You can also set the sorting order using numbers:

1.  Go to **Products → Products**
2.  Click **Edit** on the desired category
3.  Enter the preferred sorting number under **Settings → Sort**
4.  -   Lower numbers are displayed first
    -   **`0`** places the category at the top / furthest to the left
5.  Click **Save changes**
