## Pay with a Card

This article explains how to accept card payments. It also covers how to handle split payments.

## How to Accept Card Payments

-   Press the card payment button.
-   The customer can then use contactless payment, a chip, or a magnetic stripe.
-   The payment is completed, and a receipt can be printed.

## Split Payments

**Note:** There are two types of split payments. Here's how to handle them:

-   **Multiple Cards or Vipps:** If the customer wants to split the payment between several cards, or partially pay with Vipps, you must enable split payments. You do this via **Main menu > Settings > Payment > Allow split payments.**
-   **Cash/Gift Card and Card:** If the customer wants to split the payment between cash, a gift card, or store credit and a bank card, you do not need to enable split payments. First, select cash or gift card/store credit, and then select card for the remaining amount.
