If you want to sell products by pre-order, you can follow the guide below.

To sell products with pre-order, you can set up the product as follows:

***Quantity in stock:*** If your settings [**do not allow overselling**](https://take.ms/fvdub), the number of products expected must be added to the product. If you [**allow overselling**](https://take.ms/U6oBG), you do not need to enter a stock balance.

***Date available:*** Here you enter the expected date when the product is available.

***Button type:*** Select button type *pre-order/buy*. This button automatically changes from pre-order to buy when the date above is reached.

> 
> Pre-orders paid by card via Klarna V3 automatically expire after 28 days. These cannot be renewed due to an EU directive. Pre-orders paid by invoice or partial payment via Klarna V3 are automatically renewed with new 28 days after 26 days have passed.
