# Edit profile

This article explains how to edit personal information for your user account in the control panel.

## How to open the profile page

You can edit your profile in two ways:

-   From the control panel dashboard
-   Via **Administrators**

## From the dashboard

1.  Click the profile icon in the top right corner of the control panel
2.  Select **Edit profile**

Here you can:

-   Edit **Personal information**  
    (First name, Last name, Title, Phone number)
-   Change **Role**
-   Change **Language**
-   Update **Account security**  
    (Change password, Change PIN, Enable multi-factor authentication, Delete account)
-   View **User statistics**

## Via Administrators

1.  Go to **Configuration** → **Administrators**
2.  Click **View details**

Here you can:

-   Change **Group(s)**
-   Change **Role**
-   Change **POS visibility**
-   Activate **External user**
-   Change **PIN**
-   **Delete user**
