Gift card registration

Module settings

In the module the option for “Gavekort” need to be set to “true”. 

We’ll auto-create the giftcard product in Tripletex on the first transfer after setup. 

The customer can create the product manually if he/she choses. 

If the product is created manually be sure to use the same SKU (varenummer) as set up in the module (see image above). 

Setup in Tripletex

Before adding gift card as a payment method in the Tripletex integration you need to have the correct payment method in Tripletex. The add this follow these steps:

1. Log into Tripletex
2. Go to “Faktura > Innstillinger > Betalingstyper”
3. If gift card isn’t already a payment method click “Ny rad” 
4. Give the payment method a name and attach it to the account (Regnskapskonto) called “Annen kortsiktig gjeld”. 
5. Make sure “Vis på ordre” is checked.

On the gift card product in Tripletex make sure the account (Inntektskonto) is set to “Annen kortsiktig gjeld” and that VAT (MVA) is set to “0% Ingen utgående avgift (innenfor mva-loven)”.

Integration setup

When everything is set up in Tripletex you need to set up the integration.
Go to your control panel to Apps > Innstillinger and fint the "Tripletex v2" app. Click on Installasjonsveileder. 

You can either click through the first steps until you reach step 4 or you can enter this URL in you browser: https://www.yourdomain.com/kontrollpanel/onboarding_tripletex.php?step=4

Connect the different payment methods in your store to the correct payment method in Tripletex. 

Each store probably has a slightly different setup. So if in doubt check with your accountant. 

After “Betaling med gavekort” is connected to the correct payment method in Tripletex you’re all set. 

Finish the setup and start selling!

Orders paid with both gift card and a second payment method will from now on have this listed on each invoice in Tripletex:
