Some stores have customers that uses several "departments". In Mystore these would have to be separate customers but when transferring orders to Tripletex they'd like to connect them all to one "main account".
With the correct setup in Mystore this is possible.
Customer setup
For this to work the integration will look up customers based on org. number and not customer number.
Therefore it's important that all customers in Mystore has the same org. number as the main customer in Tripletex.
Module settings
In the settings for the Tripletex module some defaults needs to be changed.
Search for customer
The setting for "Søk etter kunde" (Search for customer) needs to be set to TRUE, by default this is false.
This ensures that the integration looks for customers with the correct org.number and don't use the Mystore customer number.
What happens if the setting is false?
If the setting is false we will not look up customer based on org.number but instead use the internal customer number in Mystore.
Then each transferred order will be connected to its own customer in Tripletex and not the main customer.
Don't update customer
The setting for "Ikke oppdater kunde" (Don't update customer) needs to be set to TRUE, by default this is false.
This ensures that we don't overwrite the customer details in Tripletex when transferring an order.
What happens if the setting is false?
If the setting is false we will still look up customers based on org. number, but when transferring the order the customer in Tripletex will have its name, e-mail etc. updated based on the customer in Mystore.
So if the order is placed on the customer "Smart Tech dept. Tromsø" in Mystore we will connect it to the main customer in Tripletex and then update the main customer name to "Smart Tech dept. Tromsø".
