Article Summary

Here you will find the most used features in the Europe templates (Paris, Barcelona and Berlin)

All our premium templates come with configurable settings for a variety of parameters. Among other things, these can be used to upload and link banners to relevant content in the store, change the colors of key elements in the store, choose fonts and adjust the display of products and menus.

Below is a walkthrough of the most commonly used functionalities available in Design settings.

The design settings are available in their control panel under Design > Ditt Design. Then press Design settings.

Banner images

Under the menu option Banner images, you have access to all banner positions available for the Paris design template.

These are grouped with letters and numbers. Each letter denotes a row, and the numbers indicate the order from left to right as they appear on the page. You can change the position of ad banners B1, B2, C and D.

Click on the grey bar to bring up the menu for each banner. Here you can upload pictures, add a link that each banner should link to. It can be a link to product pages, category pages, or fixed content. It is also possible to embed external links. It is not possible to link to an external page that opens in a new window (new tab).

When linking on ad banners, it is important that you only use the URL for the product or category, ie the one behind the domain name, but with a / in front. See example above.

A special feature of the A1 banner is that if you upload more than one image, these will appear as a carousel on the page where one and one image is displayed at given intervals. For other banners, there is one image per banner space.

There is support for multiple full-width banners and multiple banners can be placed relatively freely on the front page. Banners B, C, and D have three alternate placements. Text on banner images has been removed, except on Banner F1-4. Support has been added for using Alt Text on banners. This text does not appear, but search engines like this text, so it affects the display in Google.

On banner F1-4 it is possible to add Mouseover effect. That is, you can choose for the images to have a zoom effect when hovering the mouse pointer over them.

Banner sizes:

Banner A1. Full-width banner at the top of the page. PC. Recommended size: 1600x550px. Mobile banner. Recommended size: 700 x 500px.

Banner B1 and B2. 50% wide banner that can be moved. Recommended: 800px wide X 550px high.

Banner C and D. Full-width banner that can be moved. Recommended: 1600x500px

Banner F1-F4, G1-G4, H1-H4. 1/4 wide banners located in the upper part of the page. Recommended: 400x400px.

Top bar and menu

Here you can add promotional arguments such as "Free shipping over NOK 500,-" and similar. You can also select the display of language selector and currency selector if these functionalities are enabled in the store.

Under Mega menu, you can adjust the number of columns the menu should display, as well as choose whether badges, News and Offers should be visible options in the main menu.

Under General settings you can choose whether you want Docked header, which means that the menu is stuck at the top of the page when scrolling down.

Under General Settings, you can change the shopping cart icon.

The dropdown menu opens at click, not at the hover (when you put the mouse pointer on the menu item) as before.

Bottom line

The bottom line (footer) is created automatically and uses company information, address, email, etc. from the control panel. This can be found under the menu item Configuration, General.

One can also select multiple styles on the bottom line if you choose Widgets, custom text boxes. Widgets must then be created from the Design > Boxes in the menu bar.

The design templates have many settings for colors that can be selected in Design Settings - Colors. We offer a package for configuration and a one-hour review of design settings adapted to your company's graphic profile.

Font types and sizes

You can now have one font type on body text, i.e. all text on the website, and another font type on headings.

Select Main font in the store first, then Font on headings. There are about 30 Google fonts available, and you can also choose the thickness of the headers. PS! Not all fonts are of different thickness.

System texts and headings

Some of the texts on the page are automatically generated by the system, some of which you can overwrite if desired.

Under Texts on the front page, you can choose a new heading for the available product blocks. This applies to Selected Products, New Products and Offer Products. You can also choose to add a separate header for the Instagram widget if it is installed.

It is also possible to adjust the headings on the front page, either right-, left-aligned or centered text.

We also have settings for texts on the product boxes. Here you can choose a separate text for the news and offer bands, or choose whether the offer bands should display a percentage rate instead of text.

Headings can be changed to show only UPPERCASE.

Product page

In the Product Page menu item, you can customize what information is displayed at the product level. You can choose to view the manufacturer's name, stock status, and item number.

Product box setup

Here you will find settings for adjusting how many product boxes you want to display per row on the front page and category pages, divided by the type of device (screen size) customers use when they visit the page.

You also have a number of choices for how much information you want to include in your category-level product boxes, such as news and offer tapes, buy button, and product description.

Page menu on category pages

In Paris there is support for side menu / sidebar. If you want a side menu in the online store, please contact

Advanced settings

If you added more banners under A1 in Banner Images, you can use the options in Banner A1 General. Here are two additional choices:

  1. Previous/Next buttons, these allow customers to scroll between the different banners in the image carousel.
  2. The time each image is displayed, the default is 4 seconds - here you can choose a shorter or longer interval if desired.

Here it is also possible to add an image that appears when the link is shared in social media, Open Graph meta image.

Personalized shopping

The template supports Personalized shopping and can be ordered by emailing
