Article summary

When Adyen makes a payout to their account, a payout report is generated. Here we go through the payout report.

The Payout Report is available in your dashboard under Reports > Data Fund > Payout Report

Here is an explanation for the report:

Explanation of transaction fees

With a POS from Mystore, you pay transaction fees as you get sales. These fees are deducted on your payout report.

  • NOK 1 per transaction.
  • 1.25% - 2.75% dynamic move based on turnover. You can calculate what price you pay here.

In short, you start each month with a fee of 2.75%, where a settlement is made at the end of each month. You are then reimbursed what you have paid too much in fees on the entire turnover.

Transaction fee refund

Example;

You have a turnover of 150,000 a month. It is then deducted 2.75% all month, but based on the turnover you will have a 2.49% transaction fee for the entire turnover of NOK 150,000.

The difference of 0.26% will then be reversed to your account during one of the initial payout reports the following month. This will be visible as a refund on your payout report as an Invoice Deduction.

Why aren't all the purchases a day combined on the same report?

The reason why all transactions do not appear on the same day is that a so-called cut-off is made at a time of day.

Let's say one day you've had 40 transactions, but only 30 of those make your next payout. This is because the last 10 transactions were completed after a certain point in time, e.g. after 17:00.
The fee of 1,- is deducted immediately and appears with the correct number of transactions (40), even if only 30 have been redeemed and paid out.

FAQ

What does refund mean on payout report?
Via our acquirer Adyen, you have the opportunity to refund directly to the customer's account by looking up the customer's order or scanning the customer's receipt.

When this is done, a refund is generated from Adyen which will be visible as a deduction on a future payout report.
