What is a personalized mail flow?

Personalized emails are a great way to communicate with the customers who have given consent. Remember to leave this setting disabled on these flows, since emails are considered marketing.

Examples of personalized emails

To begin with, we can recommend setting up the following emails to be combined with flow.

Abandoned cart
This is an email that is sent out automatically if a customer has added items to their cart without completing the purchase. This is an email flow that generates quite a bit of revenue.

NB! Remember to choose Cart as the template when creating the email

Customer signed up for newsletter via pop-up

When a customer has signed up for a newsletter via a pop-up, it is often because they have offered a discount code when signing up. We recommend sending this discount code by e-mail, as you ensure that the customer actually leaves their real e-mail address.

Happy birthday
This email is sent to customers on the date registered as the date of birth in your Mystore control panel. The most common is to create a discount code for the customer that lasts so-so long.
New member customer club
If a customer joins the customer club, an email can automatically be sent to the customer containing a discount code and membership benefits.

How to set up different flows

Below are some examples of flows that can be used to send out emails to customers. The two that provide the most value are abandoned cart and discount code to customers who sign up for newsletters.

Abandoned cart

Sending emails to customers who have added products to the shopping cart can easily increase the conversion rate to your store. In the email, you choose whether you offer a discount or just a reminder about the shopping cart.

Send birthday greetings

Sending a birthday greeting is a great way to build a good relationship with your customers. Follow the steps below to create a flow that sends email on your customer's birthday.

Create the email sent

To make it easier to create your flow, we recommend creating the email sent first.

You do this in the Flow > Email menu > Overview. Under general emails, you'll find a birthday greeting template.  You can use this as inspiration, and if you want to offer a discount code, the widget for this has already been added.
