When you post an image, the size of the image adapts to the space available where it is dragged in.
You can change the size yourself by tapping on the image and dragging the edges. The image will then change size, but retain the correct proportion.
You can also change the height manually in the menu on the right. There are two choices there.
"Reset to original height" - This automatically adjusts the height to fit the box the image is in.
"Height" - This option allows you to enter the desired height. It can be useful if you have several images where you want the same height.
Different sizes on different devices
If you adjust the size of an image in computer view, it will in some cases look strange on other devices.
In this example, I have a row of four boxes that appear on all devices.
Computer view:
Mobile view:
On a computer, it looks nice, but on mobile, the images stretch. This is because the images on mobile use the same height set on computer. To solve this, I tap on the image, and in the menu on the right I tap on "Reset to original height". I do this operation for each individual image. Now mobile view looks like this:
The boxes around the image are still quite high. We can easily solve this by pressing one of the boxes and in the menu on the right under "Height" I first click on "Fit to content" and then "Customize side-by-side boxes and container".
The images are quite small on mobile since you have to keep the proportions. An alternative could be to show two boxes in width on mobile phones instead. Then the images have more space in width to get bigger.
