Do you have a search function in your online store and want to know what visitors are searching for? This is possible in Google Analytics.

The first thing to do after activating Google Analytics is the following:

  1. Go to "Admin"
  2. Tap "Data Streams" in the middle column. Select your data feed
  3. Find the "Enhanced measurement" event and press the gear

  4. Find "site search", and select "Advanced settings
  5. Add a comma and enter keywords in the list (no spaces)
  6. Click "Save" at the top of the page

Once you have set up Google Analytics to track this search, you will see what visitors have searched for in your real-time reports and custom reports.
