Why Google Analytics 4?
Google Analytics 3, also known as Universal Analytics, will stop working on July 1, 2023. Google has decided that Google Analytics 4 is the future. Here's how to create this site.
Setup at Mystore
In Mystore's control panel, you have support for both Google Analytics Universal and Google Analytics 4. To set this up, you can do the following:- Go to Google Setup >
- Select the module "Google Analytics (Statistics) - (Remember to update the module if needed)
In the module, you have a field called "GA4 ID". Here you enter your measurement ID from Google Analytics 4, which you can find by logging in to GA4 and navigating to Administrator > Data Streams and further into the property's data stream.
We recommend that you follow the setup assistant in Google Analytics 4 to get all the important settings and pairings in place.
If you have a Google Analytics 3 (Universal) account, please keep it so you can go back and look at historical data.
