In your control panel you will find an overview of your active and expired debts.
The debt overview can be found under Reports > Debt in your control panel.
The list here is sorted by date the debt item is updated, not when, for example, a gift card is sold. So if part of the value of the gift card is used, the gift card will end up at the top of this list.
This report is well suited to use for adjusting debt/changes in debt in the accounts.
When you sell a gift card, the gift card is recorded as debt. It is important to point out that a gift card is not a payment method, you can think of the gift card as a discount code. The turnover does not come until the gift card is actually used, or expires.
Example lifecycle of a 1000 gift card:

- You sell the gift card: 1000,-
- You get a debt of: -1000,-
- The gift card will be used: 1000,-
Total turnover of the gift card: 1000-1000+1000=1000,-
