Custom tabs

With custom product tabs, you can easily create custom tabs with custom content on each product.

Add tab

After the extension is activated, a new option will appear inside the product description of products in the control panel.

By tapping on Add tab, you will be given two choices; Add Global Tab and New Custom Tab. Read more about the different types below.

New custom tab

The New Custom Tab selection adds a new blank tab to the product.
This tab is local to the selected product and will not be able to be added or displayed on other products.

Once the tab is added, you will be able to give it a name and content. This will then be displayed on the product page in the webshop.

Add global tabs

Do you often have the same content on several products? Then global tabs are perfect!
A global tab is created in a separate view and can then be linked to the desired products.

To add a global tab, first click on Add tab and then select "Add Global Tab".
A window will then open and display all available tabs. Select one or more and click Add

Global tabs can't be edited from a product and therefore don't have a regular word processor. If you want to edit a global tab, this must be done using a separate interface. Read more in the next section.

Create and edit global tabs

Creating and editing global tabs can be found by going to a product and clicking "Edit global tab" above the product description.

From here, you can create new tab or edit existing ones. In addition, you can easily see all the products a tab is linked to.

Both tab creation and editing offer the same word processor as regular product description and thus support text, images, etc.

After the tab has been created, it can be added to products by following the instructions in add global tabs

Note that editing global tabs will refresh the tab on all associated products.
