Learn how to add a discount code to an email.

Create discount code

Before the discount code can be added to the email sent out, you must create a discount code in your control panel. This must be done since it is the control panel that handles the discount system itself. 

1: In your control panel, navigate to Tools > Discounts. Here you create a discount code in the same way as described here.  

Note: You do not need to add exactly the same rules to the discount code as in the example

Add the discount code to the email

Once the discount code is created in the control panel, you can add the discount code to the email builder. Follow the steps below.

1: Open the email you wish to edit.

2: Click and drag the component "Discount" from the menu and into the email.

3. Press the gear button > Discount > Select a discount code.

Under "Code", copy in the name of the discount code you recently created in the control panel. Finish by tapping "Save".

4: Now, save the actual email to be sent.
